Marron d’Or is a dry type squash, nutty and sweet in flavour with the perfect bleend of dryness and sweetness. It has a consistent dark green colour that is not prone to fading. Marron d’Or can reach a brix of approximately 14-15 when fully ripened; 5-6 weeks after harvest.
The variety is unique because it keeps improving after harvest and once it reached premium eating condition, it will hold its brix, flavour and taste profiles longer than other commercially available squash varieties.
