Building a bridge in Natokalau Village (Fiji)

After repeated flooding issues from an overflowing stream through the Natokalau village, water would rise so high that children weren’t able to get to and from school during heavy rainfall periods. This Fair Trade project allowed us to help the Natokalau villagers to rebuild a connecting bridge that crossed a stream with a more robust structure to withstand any future floods.
