Nalalawa Village Water Project (Fiji)

The villagers of Nalalawa was faced with a sever water shortage after the village was affected by El Niño. A total of 250 people were desperately seeking for funding to help with access to clean drinking water. In this project, the Fair Trade funds went towards purchasing building materials to develop a pressure pump system to restore the village’s freshwater sources.
